11. September: Storytelling-Performance von Heidi Dahlsveen

Wir möchten Sie herzlich einladen, gemeinsam mit Erzählerin und Dozentin Heidi Dahlsveen in die Welt nordischer Mythologie und norwegischer Geschichten einzutauchen. Ihre Performance „Tåre – a taste of the unknown friend, stories about death” widmet sich einem Thema, das wir normalerweise lieber verschweigen als intensiv besprechen: dem Tod. Heidi Dahlsveen beschreibt ihren englischsprachigen Soloabend, mit dem sie am 11. September bei uns zu Gast sein wird, wie folgt:

”Why is your hair so grey like the frost? That is because your tears hit my chest so hard.” This is a performance about death not sparing anyone, neither god nor everyman. Through the good god Balder the long awaited beauty finally comes into the world. What is more important? Allowing the beauty decay, or kill it while it is still blooming? What is hope? Is it something that relieves or prolongs the pain? These questions are asked in the storytelling performance consisting of stories from Norwegian and Norse folktales, legends and myths. The storytelling performance meets death through humour, pain and an appropriate measure of realism.
